frustration still school related Eboy came home yesterday quite upset. It seems that in the morning, a girl in his class got another boy (older...not in his class) to take Eboy's backpack (that was holding his place in line while he was off playing) and put it in a mud puddle. Now if that's not bad enough, then the little 'darling' stepped on the backpack....all on purpose. Destroying Eboy's cell phone in the process. Had his phone been taken apart and begun drying out right then, it may still have worked. But as it didn't get pulled apart until 8+ hours later....it's tits up, including the sim card. sigh the reason he has a cell phone is due to the school's 'allowing' him to walk off campus earlier in the school year (ya 'member...when the police had to be called). SOooooooooooo, since the teacher was informed of this yesterday morning, by Eboy...let's see what she says since I had to email her and the principal asking what action would be taken against the kid who 'wantonly destroyed property'. and NOW I have to order a new damn phone for Eboy. performance notes. so the performance ... went. no big disasters.... One student was nervous and early. The other was late but relatively calm. For our group piece I repeated a step on the left when I should have gone right - but they followed my lead just fine. They weren't going to play my second number but... it all worked out in the end. I improv'd** more of the second piece than I'd like but... I'm confident that it will work well for the bigger set next week. AS did the advice I got from... ata1anta caffeine to stave off an asthma attack. I wanted chocolate covered coffee beans but... had to settle for chewing a few ordinary coffee beans instead. I know - ICK. but I can't drink coffee and this tasted about the same to me, only faster. By the end of my second number... I wasn't winded at all. so yeah. I really will have to find some chocolate covered beans for next week. I made a friend- I captivated this little 3 yr old girl. She thought we were angels. When I danced over to her to shimmy - her eyes just about popped. Afterward she ignored the rest of the program to come over and stand next to me in the back of the room (even though I'd put on my cover up.) It was rather delightful. ** what is the past tense for improv. can't be " improved" that doesn't look right? ... but... maybe I should rephrase it to be... I did more improv than I'd like....duh... improvised..... sheesh. boy do I feel... yeah. Current Mood: silly |

so tired I'm wiped. besides taking the dogs to the vet, sewing on my costume, teaching my dance class, having a dress rehearsal... I'm a little freaked out about the upcoming performances, but at least we'll be meeting again for another rehearsal next Monday. I hate to put the students through it again but we really need to polish that number. I wish there were other pieces that we could do as a group together but... since it is audience on all four sides the other two choreos aren't going to work for this venue. :( Something to consider with my next choreo. I'm satisfied that my solos for that performance will be able to take all four sides of the audience into account. I have to finish the skirt and practice my solo in costume for the OTHER performance Wednesday. Got the new students added to my email lists and sent out the weekly emails. Sent out the revised choreo notes to the performers. Practice & Ironing & finish the costume - top of the list for tomorrow! Current Mood: tired |

intelligence lacking? hmmm, in a group called "pagan (fill in the blank)"...and the topic is a major Goddess....
and you jump my shit about being polite and I remind you that thieving is thieving and mention that the threefold law is pretty universal with all religions...
you then turn it back on me AND say, (and this has me perplexed as hell) you don't know why I mention religion??? wtf??? are you that clueless? Sorry, PAGAN...GODDESS... kinda just ASSume that it might be religious folks in there, ya know.
yes little girl, you are a serious fucktard of epic proportions. |

and another thing :) I've just got to add... by principle, if I find my work stolen then I will not grant permission. If you ask first, and it's a non-commercial usage, I'll probably approve it and I go one better and send you the higher resolution images. But stealing is not gonna endear me to your reasoning at all. Take 1 minute and email to ask. It's called 'common courtesy' or 'common sense' or 'being legal'. |

fucktards on LJ oh ok, so you can lift my artwork and I am supposed to feel thankful and appreciated about it? When I tell the thief that yes they are from my website, they are my work and I was not asked > permission for you to reproduce them in any way. please remove them > immediately. > copyright theft is a violation of LJ TOS Their reply was: Subject: Re: wasn't asked, wasn't approved Huh. Out of curiosity, was it necessary to be such a bitch about this? I agree that it is your right to not want people to use your art, but you could have just asked nicely. She wanted to make these icons because of her love for the goddess Hekate, and wanted to capture every face of Her that she could. You should feel complimented, for God's sake. It had nothing to do with "stealing" from you. I'll bet you there's tons of people out there using your art right now that didn't even bother to credit you. _________________________ ya what? I should have asked nicely for the person who DIDN'T ask to use my images, to remove what she basically stole? The copyright info, the "do not reproduce without permission" and email link on every webpage seems to make it too difficult for someone to ask my permission. It's just much easier to steal it then claim righteous indignation and how they are flattering you. bullshit. So I'm the 'bad guy'??? Current Mood: annoyed |

rhetorical question why do people think it's ok to right click/copy your images then reuse them somewhere? If it says "not without permission" and an email address is readily available....they use it and ask. Otherwise, no matter how fluffy your intentions...you are a thief. Current Mood: angry |

mothers day hmm...lessee...
mother's day is sunday. MY mother didn't even send her ONLY TWO grandsons a fucking birthday card last month. Even when 'reminded' last weekend merely apologized to Kboy. His 18th birthday, not even a damn card. Yea, and like that doesn't fill me with love. |

It's also allowed on my diet! -Speaking of diet, I'm now down 5 pounds after 3 weeks. -Carmen went into her room, shut her door, and laid herself down with her sling to take a nap on her floor pillow. -The goaties get neutered this evening. -The henna that I did on Tyme last night looks great! -My nails are long enough to cut. -I can play roller coaster tycoon 3 and make my peeps happy.
There are many more good things about today, but these are the highlights so far. |

cover up. I know - I said I was going to post a photo of my cover up...finally got around to it today. I had hoped someone would be with me to take photos when I did my gig at the library but... that's how it goes. Instead you get a photo of it hanging on a hanger. Exciting. Here's the cover up. Not the best portrayal of the colour but it's now a rainy day so... it looks more denim than 'cerulean' |
